How we can help
When a roof reaches the end of its life, patching it becomes a false economy. We strip back to the timbers, replace anything that's rotten, and rebuild with new membrane, battens and your choice of slate or tile: a roof that's genuinely built to last.
A lot of the housing stock across Dumfries & Galloway is older than the roof currently on it, which means once we strip the covering off we're often the first people to properly inspect the timbers in decades. We'll always show you what we find before replacing anything, and we rebuild with a modern breathable membrane rather than the old bitumen felt that trapped moisture and shortened the life of everything underneath it.
